Backyard Bible ClubOpportunities Include: story time, recreational time (sports), crafts, and snack time.
You and your group would be able to spend a lot of time with the kids in the area that you choose to run the Backyard Bible Club. You bring the program that fits your team and we’ll set up the logistics in a safe and warm setting for your students to love kids to Jesus.
Coalition for the Homeless
The Coalition is presented with the opportunity to help over 700 people per day. They are the largest provider of homeless services in all of Central Florida. They provide food for men, women and children all over Central Florida who are homeless. They also provide services to help get people back up on their feet and plugged in to job opportunities and even housing.
Give Kids the WorldGive Kids the World is an organization that focuses on children who have a life threatening illness. They look to bring these children and their families to their 70 acre village, which is essentially a theme park that is full of all sorts of adventure for these children. They are housed on property and this is all free to them and there families because of people like yourself who are willing to participate in helping out. It is definitely an experience to get to see this place and what they are doing with it.
Share the Care
Share the care is designed to reach out to the elderly and their families. This organization provides a “daycare” service for the elderly so that the families do not have to place their loved ones into an institution. It also provides these families the opportunity to continue with their everyday lives with work and their children without having to pay for their elderly to enter a permanent home.
Opportunities Include: Entertainment…I.E. music, skits, reading, talking, balloon animals. Yard work or bbq (you must provide materials…shovels and tools for yard work; food for bbq
Matthews Hope
Matthews Hope is non-profit homeless outreach program in which volunteers will provide food and entertainment for all people who choose to participate. It is located in Winter Garden. They offer breakfast starting at 9:30 and staying open to serve late lunches until 5:30. Aside from serving food, they also provide relationships for those who are clearly starving for them.
Opportunities Include: Entertainment, serving food, cooking food, conversing, and games.
Christian Service Center

Opportunities Include: Kitchen Prep, Serving, group showcasing a talent if they have one (band, choir, etc.).
Clean the World
Looking for a way to serve the world, by just showing up? Impoverished people around the world die every day from acute respiratory infection and diarrheal disease because they have no soap. The death toll is staggering. Each year more than five million lives are lost to these diseases with the majority of deaths being among children less than five years old. You can join Clean The World in their effort to save lives. Here’s how they do it.
Clean the World implements its mission through:
1. Collecting, sorting and processing discarded soap, shampoo conditioner and lotion product donations from participating hospitality partners
2. Collection of donated hygiene products from manufacturers
3. Recycling these product donations at its facilities in Orlando, Florida
4. Delivering these recycled product donations to domestic homeless shelters and impoverished countries suffering from high death rates due to acute respiratory infection and diarrheal disease.
Opportunities Include: light physical labor in a warehouse environment. You will be working with soap and other hygiene products.
New Missions
New Missions has served the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere, Haiti, for over 30 years. They support 26 schools, each with churches, medical clinics, as well as a Bible college and business school, and a Missions Training Center for groups coming to serve. Each day over 11,000 children attend school, receive a hot meal, medical care, school books, school uniforms, and the opportunity to hear the Gospel message of Hope that changes lives.
Orlando is the headquarters for the work and you can serve the people of Haiti by serving working in their warehouse packaging boxes for delivery to Haiti and also in their call center.
